Countless Applications

Engineered with advanced catechol technology to resist harsh environments, SeaTak® For Pools (also known as PoolTak™) provides reliable, long-lasting adhesion.

  • Pools & Aquariums: Bonds directly to wet or underwater surfaces without draining the tank.
  • Ponds & Fountains: Perfect for decorative features. Seal small leaks in liners or secure stones and edging to keep water features running smoothly.
  • Emergency Repairs: Provides an immediate, strong, tacky seal for surprise leaks before a pool party or a minor plumbing break.
  • Tile & Gap Sealing: Ideal for sealing gaps, loose tiles, or damaged surfaces in both dry and submerged conditions.

How to Use SeaTak® For Pools

1

Prepare Surface

Clean and rough up the surface if necessary. The surface does not need to be dry, but it should be free of loose algae or debris.

2

Apply Adhesive

Use a caulk gun or squeeze directly from the tube. Apply deliberately — you may need more than you think. A bead of about ¼"–½" works well for most jobs.

3

Let It Set

SeaTak® For Pools reacts with moisture, so curing begins immediately. It will form a skin as it starts to set. Allow 2–3 hours for initial set and 24 hours for full cure.

4

Clean Up

Uncured adhesive can be wiped away with acetone or rubbing alcohol. Once cured, it must be removed mechanically (sanding or chipping).
