How to Use
Test calcium hardness with a reliable kit. Pre-dissolve 1 lb at a time in a bucket of warm pool water (calcium chloride generates heat when dissolving). Slowly pour the solution near a return jet with the pump running. Add no more than 2 lbs per 10,000 gallons at a time, waiting 6 hours between additions. One pound per 10,000 gallons raises calcium hardness by approximately 10 ppm.
