Calcium Elevator 8 lb (EZC-50-7308)
The right amount for a solid calcium adjustment. E-Z Clor Calcium Elevator 8 lb pouch raises calcium hardness by up to 80 ppm in a 10,000-gallon pool. Ideal for spring startups when winter dilution has dropped your calcium levels.
The Practical Size for Calcium Hardness Correction
The 8 lb pouch of E-Z Clor Calcium Elevator bridges the gap between the small 4 lb pouch (good for minor tweaks) and the bulk 25 lb box (built for major adjustments). At 8 lbs, you can raise calcium hardness by up to 80 ppm in a 10,000-gallon pool — typically enough to recover from a winter’s worth of dilution and bring your water back to the protective 200–400 ppm range.
Key Benefits
- 8 lbs raises calcium by up to 80 ppm in 10,000 gallons — perfect for spring recovery
- Calcium chloride granules dissolve faster than flake alternatives
- Prevents the plaster damage, equipment corrosion, and liner issues caused by low calcium
- Resealable pouch stores easily and keeps product dry
- More affordable per pound than the 4 lb pouch, less commitment than 25 lbs
How to Use
Test calcium hardness. Pre-dissolve 1 lb at a time in a bucket of warm pool water, as calcium chloride generates significant heat when dissolving. Pour the solution near a return jet with the pump running. Add no more than 2 lbs per 10,000 gallons per treatment, waiting 6 hours between additions. Retest after each round. Target 200–400 ppm for plaster pools, 175–250 ppm for vinyl and fiberglass.
