Get your pool open and swim-ready in one step with the E-Z Clor Quick Start Opening Kit. This all-in-one box includes shock treatment, algaecide, and enzyme-based water clarifier — everything you need to transition from closed to crystal clear.
Everything You Need to Open Your Pool in One Box
Spring pool opening can feel overwhelming — which chemicals do you add first, how much of each, and in what order? The E-Z Clor Quick Start Opening Kit takes the guesswork out of the process by bundling the essential startup chemicals into a single, easy-to-follow package. Just follow the included instructions, add the products in order, and your pool will be swim-ready within 24 hours. Currently on sale with $15 off the regular price.
What’s Included
- Shock treatment: Eliminates winter bacteria, organic contaminants, and combined chloramines from the off-season
- Algaecide: Kills any algae spores that developed during winter and prevents new growth
- Enzyme water cleaner: Breaks down non-living organic waste (pollen, oils, body products) that cause cloudy water and filter loading
How to Use
After removing your winter cover and cleaning visible debris, start your pump and filter. Follow the numbered instructions included in the kit: add the shock first, then the algaecide 4–6 hours later, then the enzyme cleaner the next morning. Run the pump continuously for the first 24–48 hours. Test your water after 48 hours and adjust pH, alkalinity, and calcium hardness as needed. The kit handles the initial sanitation — you handle the fine-tuning.
Who It’s For
This kit is ideal for residential pool owners with standard in-ground or above-ground pools up to 20,000 gallons. It’s especially valuable for first-time pool owners who don’t yet have a chemical inventory or experienced pool owners who want the convenience of a pre-packaged opening solution.
